Add Hue Lights to Caseta and you have an amazing system. With all that said, I don’t think there is a better hardware device for switches. So create a scene to turn on a light and create a 2nd scene to turn off the light. So unless you create a scene you will not see your device. Also, the app watch does not let you access devices. I had to delete My Home in HomeKit and reload the bridges to get it working.

The watch does download the app but does not let you control anything. But Siri only works well with the iPhone. Watch does not at firstĪlexa will work but not as well as Siri.

Z-wave so and so often fails to trigger, whereas Clear Connect works every single time. Z-wave has been running fairly stable, but compared to Clear Connect, no comparison. I am running a couple of Z-wave outlets today for these for various things such as pump controller, outside lighting, and holiday illumination. But it would allow tinkerer to spend more money that they otherwise would not spend.Īn in-wall outlet is missing from the line, the plug-in model is no replacement. I do not believe it would eat into revenue as both lines serve completely different markets. A really nice feature would be the merger of the RA Select and Caseta lines for more flexibility. Google home/Lutron does not allow for this. I switched to Lutron in order to have only one system and now I basically have lost my voice command ability as you can not set up multiple homes in Google home since you would have to set up two Lutron accounts and link them to Google home in order to accomplish it.
To my surprise the app does not support multiple homes! Wow! I had other wireless switches in our second home which worked perfectly while being controlled by Google home and more importantly by voice commands as Google home DOES support multiple homes. The app is good and the wireless dimmers are great, I liked them so much that I added them to our vacation home.
